Davidar and his 'tacit' admission to molestation

Now David Davidar, a former big Penguin honcho, today, sort of admitted that he indeed behaved with his female employees inappropriately and that he cheated on his wife. My only comment is: when I vehemently protest such acts of lewdness and demand exemplary punishment, I must admit that this type of lecherousness by so called 'respectable' public figures or intellectuals is not at all uncommon in the society. The recent Tiger Woods scandal is a glaring example of that. The American president does that. The Nobel laureate also does that too.

What I found disgusting is that, in order to be in the headline, a few third-grade journalists have started to reveal their closeness with David Davidar and also, began to give their character certificates to him based on their almost no or very less or dubious interaction with him. One such article was published by the Akhond of Swat. How could you really know a real man in just eight month's of professional interaction, Ms. attention-whore Nilanjana or whatever. Here.

so now you have started ranting Nilanjana too?

That's all she does. Don't you see her blog is called "Counter-point?" She does not have a point of her own - just spends time countering others'.

If a lady, the Nilanjana something of Business Standard, in full awareness supports a downright social evil, then she deserves what I said of her. Go read how she tried to defend him -- even in her new post she reiterated that -- when any responsible journalist will try to remain silent as the case is subjudice. On the other hand, how would one know a real David Davidar through some superficial professional interaction for just a few months. I don't give a damn to what kind of a intellectual luminary Davidar is. There are numerous earlier examples where such things came to fore, committed by so-called intellectuals who are actually, to my mind, spineless reptiles waiting for the right moment to bare their fangs. I hope now we know what a "consensual flirtatious relationship" is. I can understand too damn well why Ms. Nilanjana wants to support that cockroach.

I a glad I found another outspoked person on this Davidar issue. I cant understand why the media and such well known journos are going soft on this issue and man. I expressed my opinion in Ashok Banker's blog. Now yours.
Consensual flirting is the most spineless argument I have ever heard. Even Bill Clinton was not spared, why this man? Married slimeballs trying to get away with everything.... he apologizes to his wife in the statement!!!! B@#$%^&&.

On another note, very outspoken blog you have got here. Takes guts, but personally why the venom? When you spit against the wind, it falls back on you. Just an unbiased general view. Please dont misunderstand my line as anything else.

@aa: When a man rapes a woman, he says it was consensual. When a man is denied by a woman to call the shots, he says she was a slut. It is with every man, make a note of the fact. Some are courageous enough to make advancements, some cannot. You can get wind of that from the abusive comments a special Bong has flooded me with when in his public persona he sure tries to act intellectual and impress women.

Speaking of venom, I'm not going to take any of these attacks hands down. If it is venom, spit, let it be.
Anyways, welcome.
